Arctic Awakening is the latest game from GoldFire Studios and is filled with plenty of things to do with very little guidance from the game. That's where we come in. This guide is to help you figure out how to power up the power plant and continue in episode 4.
When you make your way down to the power plant it's probably pretty obvious where you need to go as you probably tried in episode 2. The goal is to open the giant door infront of you when you first come down the hill.
You will walk up to it and try the keycard you found earlier in the game but Alfie will tell you it appears the door first needs power.
How To Solve
So what we need to do is find 4 spots that Alfie can plug into here. As of this writing I'm not sure if this is only available if you chose the communication augmentation when you upgraded Alfie or not, but it's how I opened it.
Plug #1
The first one you have to go to is back towards where you found Donovan's camp in episode 2. Climb up the area and across the bridge type area and follow the stairs around. You should immediately notice the plug in spot with a switch next to it.
Kai will tell Alfie he might as well come get a charge and that's when you will learn Alfie can turn the power plant back on if you just find the other 3 plug in spots.
Plug #2
From the previous spot go up the stairs where all the flags are and head to the end of this area, turning into the little spot at the end. Kai should mention he sees another one and Alfie will fly right in. It's above your head here for reference.
Plug #3
Now head all the way back towards the first section of the power plant. Head back to where you would have jumped up to that first bridge section and keep hugging the left wall. You should see the third plugin right there near the end of these walls just before the garage looking area.
Plug #4
The 4th and final plug will now be back towards the gate itself. You will see a small two-storey building just before the scan card of the gate which will have the last plugin spot.
With all 4 done you should now be able to walk right up and scan the door and it will open up for you along with the story related achievement.
