It's almost time for Metal Gear Solid: Delta Snake Eater as the game finally arrives next week on August 28 2025.
The remake of the iconic 2004 PlayStation 2 era Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater has been in development for several years at Konami, with original creator Hideo Kojima not involved in the creation of the game.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater takes place at the height of the Cold War as two superpowers battle it out for nuclear supremacy. Snake is sent in to try and diffuse the situation.
Last week we got confirmation that multiplayer mode, FOX HUNT will arrive later this year therefore not being available at launch.
PlayStation 5 and PC copies of the game will launch with an Ape Escape crossover, Snake vs Monkey. Meanwhile, the Xbox version of the title will launch with a Bomberman crossover mode, Snake vs Bomberman. Video game crossovers get stranger as the years go by!
Metal Gear Solid: Delta Snake Eater releases August 28 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Pre-orders for physical and digital editions are available now.
