Herdling, the atmospheric Indie adventure game from developer Okomotive, has a total of 31 achievements/trophies covering a variety of story beats, challenges, and interactions. Here is our guide for all of Herdling’s harness locations, helping you unlock the Fabulous, Highly Decorated, and Collector achievements. You’ll have the best-looking herdling in no time!

All Harness Locations
Chapter 3
1.
The first harness is found midway through the Autumn Forest, at the campfire point.
What you are looking for is a statue of a Calicorn with a headdress of flowers and other decorations across its horns. This one is located on a raised platform.
Climb up onto the stones and interact with the statue to collect the harness.
Hop down and approach one of your Calicorns. It will highlight them to give them the harness.
Adorning a Calicorn with a headdress for the first time will unlock the Fabulous achievement, and it is 100% accurate!
Chapter 5
2.
The second harness is found during Chapter 5, the Mountain Range. After a wide section made for stampeding, you’ll reach some tall ruins with an outdoor section to the right.
Approach this outdoor area and look for a path leading up to a high ledge.
Call one of your Calicorns to help you up the ledge and continue forward.
You’ll spot another Calicorn waiting to be tamed, and opposite them is another statue with a harness. (Were they admiring the harness?)
Collect the harness and give it to one of your Calicorns, like the new one you just found!

The third harness is also found during Chapter 5, the Mountain Range. You’ll reach another stealth section after passing through an arch with one of the giant birds perched atop it.
Guide your herdling to the right side of the central stone statue, through the stick totems, not alerting any of the ghoulish birds. Have you Calicorns help you move the statue to knock over all the totems and scare away all the avains.
With the area clear, you can now search the area in peace. Look for a narrow stone path to the right of the arch you entered through.
At the end of this precarious structure is a Calicorn statue with the third harness.
Grab the harness and give it to another of your Calicorns. Your herdling is becoming quite the fashionable bunch!
Chapter 6
4.
The final 3 harnesses are all found during Chapter 6, the Glacier Valley.
The fourth harness is found during the section where you gather your herdling after a dangerous stampede section.
As you collect your herdling back together, you’ll make your way over to a set of ruins where a Calicorn statue with the harness stands near.
Collect the harness and have four Calicorns spruced up with harnesses.

Later on, you’ll reach another tall ruin you can enter, which has two exits on either side, with a third locked one in the middle. The fifth harness is found at the ruin site through the left exit.
At the next set of ruins, you’ll spot the Calicorn statue with the harness on a raised platform. There is an incomplete stone path leading to it.
Guide your Calicorns toward the centre of the ruins and have them assist you in pushing part of the stone path into place.
Head to the right and climb up the low lip where the stone path starts, and follow it to the raised platform.
Grab the harness from the statue and drop back down to adorn another of your Calicorn with a harness, unlocking the Highly Decorated achievement.
6.
The final harness is found towards the end of Chapter 6. You’ll eventually reach a campfire in some snowy ruins. The Calicorn statue with the sixth harness is through the entrance to the left.
Approach it and grab the harness.
Having collected all six harnesses throughout the game, the Collector achievement should pop.
