Hell Let Loose made a splash in the fps community when it launched in 2021, and today, Expression Games alongside publisher Team17 have announced a sequel at the Future Games Show, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam looks to build on what made the original game so epic. 50v50 battles return set in maps that are designed to feel authentic and historically accurate to the Vietnam setting from the war the spanned nearly a decade in the 60s and 70s. Weapons and vehicles from the time will also be historically accurate.
Players will need to use teamwork and tactics in order to succeed on the battlefield, as no one can go in trying to play hero. The game will retain its core gameplay that made the first a success. With its historical accuracy and focus on tactics it is a nice change of pace from the more popular shooters of today.
The Vietnam war setting is one rarely used in gaming so this adds some extra intrigue to Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.

- Aerial Units – Allowing fully operational helicopters for troop deployment and fire support. These units play a pivotal role in transporting soldiers to landing zones, delivering supplies to the team in tactical locations, conducting reconnaissance and offering aerial firepower.
- Patrol boats – Take control of heavily armed vessels, such as iconic U.S. patrol boat, the PBR.
- Tunnels – The North Vietnamese forces can construct extensive tunnel networks, offering strategic advantages for surprise attacks and troop movements. This means that mastering tactics will become essential to winning the battle."‹
