It's not long at all until Ghost of Yotei arrives on PlayStation 5. We've had a regular drip feed of exciting information throughout the year including a full State of Play deep dive, information about the games combat and more. During gamescom Opening Night Live this evening, Sucker Punch shared yet another new look at Ghost of Yotei.
Whilst we got to see more of Atsu's upcoming adventure across the land of Ezo, the surprise of the evening was the announcement of upcoming free multiplayer mode, Legends. Legends will arrive in 2026 and brings two-player story missions, as well as four-player survival matches.

There’s little more to go off at this time, although it sounds very much like Ghost of Tsushima Legends, Yotei’s predecessor.
Developer Sucker Punch have confirmed that they'll share more on Ghost of Yotei Legends closer to launch next year.
Ghost of Yotei launches on October 2 2025 exclusively for PlayStation 5.
