It looks like a solid start for Nintendo icon, Kirby on the Nintendo Switch 2. We already have the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, with its Switch 2 DLC, Star Crossed World launching soon.
Earlier this year Kirby Air Riders was confirmed to be in development, a sequel to the 2023 GameCube title, Kirby Air Ride. Kirby Air Ride was a spin off racing game to the Kirby franchise that released in 2003 / 2004 depending on your location.
Little is known about the new Air Riders, aside from what we saw in the teaser/reveal trailer from the Switch 2 reveal, but tomorrow (19 August) we get our first big 45 minute deep dive Direct. What we do know, is that Super Smash Bros head Masahiro Sakurai is directing the game. Got to be a good sign, right?

Also today, Nintendo launched the X (Twitter) account for Kirby Air Riders. Worth a follow for all of the news tomorrow.
The teaser trailer's YouTube description still states the game is due in 2025, however a full reveal this close to a TBC launch date may suggest a delay into 2026. Not long to wait until we know for sure.
