The latest instalment of the long running Madden franchise is here with Madden 26. As always the game features a host of achievements/trophies that are easy to get as long as you know what to do. That's where we come in. This guide will help you unlock the "Big Spender" achievement/trophy.
Franchise Mode
To obtain big spender you will need to be running a franchise in the games franchise mode and sign a free agent player with a 90+ overall.
There's a normal way to go about this and a quick way, but both require turning the salary cap off. So when setting up your franchise mode ensure that is selected. I'd also recommend choosing the pre season rosters.
Now if you want to do this normally because you want to play franchise mode just play through a season and when you get to the next off season offer all the 90+ players that are available as much money as possible. One of them should sign.
Quicker Method
If you want to get this out of the way quickly though select a team with a very highly rated player such as the Buffalo Bills who have a 99 rated QB in Josh Allen.
As soon as the preseason starts go to your NFL Rosters section of the GM tab of the menus and find Josh Allen (or another 90+ rated player) and release them.

After this head back out and under the GM tab select free agents. Find the player you just cut and sign them to the active roster. With no salary cap the offer should be a ton of money and they should accept, getting you this achievement/trophy.

That's all there is to this one and it is quite easy to do! For more Madden 26 achievement/trophy guides check below as we cover a few.
