PlayStation is bringing the heat this August, with some big titles coming to the PS Plus subscription service, including a day-one release.
Announced earlier today via the official PlayStation Blog, fans can look forward to web-swinging through New York City, defending Earth from giant insects, and surfing a world of sand, among other activities.

Some big hitters are leading this month’s PS Plus additions, with Marvel’s Spider-Man and Mortal Kombat 1 filling out the AAA quota. The other highlight is that Sword of the Sea, the next title from developer Giant Squid, is launching Day One on PS Plus Extra!
If you’re looking for some recommendations, we would suggest checking out the incredibly unique and twisted Indika, and experiencing life trapped underwater on an alien planet in Harold Halibut, a game brought to life through claymation.

Two of the most iconic horror games have joined the PS Plus Premium tier, giving new fans of the Resident Evil series who played the remakes a chance to experience the originals.
As a final treat to celebrate PS Plus’ 15th anniversary, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach is getting a Game Trial exclusive for PS Plus Premium members.
That is a lot of great and diverse titles to try out, and that’s not including all the new releases, like Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Gears of War: Reloaded, and Lost Soul Aside, to name a few. All of the titles featured will be available on their respective tiers from August 19th.
