If last weeks Nintendo Partner Direct wasn't enough Nintendo news for fans, Nintendo are hosting yet another showcase later this week.
Whilst last week featured some big hitter titles including Monster Hunter Stories 3, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, which we awarded an 8/10 in our review and Final Fantasy Tactics - Ivalice Chronicles, the Indie World shows normally feature smaller titles.
The 7 August 2025 Nintendo Indie World Showcase will showcase 15 minutes of indie games coming to the original Nintendo Switch, as well as the all new Nintendo Switch 2.
The showcase will be live on Nintendo's YouTube channels at the following times:
- 6am North America PT
- 9am North America ET
- 2pm UK BST
- 3pm Europe CEST

It's almost certain we'll see some big indies coming to Switch 2. The console has been off to a sales flyer with 6m sales globally since launch. The console has had some excellent first-party titles including Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza, which we scored 10/10, but with a little while to go until more Nintendo juggernaut franchises launch on the platform, it'll be nice to have a few new indies to jump into.
