Time for that Nostalgia kick right in the mop bucket!
The retro legends at Retroware have knocked over the tube of ooze and revealed that their new side-scrolling beat-’em-up, Toxic Crusades will be released on PC and all platforms on December 4th, 2025, just in time for that glorious holiday period.
To celebrate, Retroware has released an all-new gameplay trailer showing off all the glory of Toxic Crusaders.
Taking inspiration from the old coin arcade machines that used to be in the local fish and chip shop, Toxic Crusaders has an all-new story crafted to carry on the narrative of the 1991 cartoon, which only aired for one season.
Take to the streets of Tromaville to punch, kick, and mop your way through Dr. Killemoff’s Radiation Rangers. With local co-op and 7 playable characters, each with unique abilities, including Toxie, Nozone, Junkyard, and Major Disaster.
Toxic Crusaders is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
