Omni Man, one of the most important characters in Invincible had his gameplay shown off for Invincible Vs and much like in the series itself, it looks like he’ll be one of the most powerful characters in the game as he looks to have every tool there is.
Since its original announcement Invincible Vs has been showing us many of its characters and their skills. Omni man looks like he’ll be a strong all rounder as in the trailer we saw he has a projectile, something none of the other viltrumites have had so far, has armored moves, possibly a command throw and looks like he can close the gap quickly as well.
While it looks like they may be giving Omni Man too much at first glance, it does make sense given his status within the series as within the show as well as the comics, he’s a character that very few can step against. Even then, it’s good that he looks this way as a common concern for the game so far has been how will all the viltrumites play differently given their similar powers and skill sets. So far out of the playable ones shown, Invincible, Thula and now Omni Man all look very different to play.
Another interesting thing is that Omni man looks to be playing the role of antagonist for the game, a role he hasn’t had since the first season of the show and ended by this point in the comics as well.
