I’ve always been a big fan of Christmas and prepare early, but even I wasn’t expecting to be talking about a Christmas classic in July, but here we are. GameMill Entertainment has announced the Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer game.
The game is based on the classic movie of the same name. Players will embark on a holiday quest to save Christmas in a platforming adventure. It is sure to give adult gamers a nostalgia kick while also bringing in younger kids to the classic via gaming.
Gameplay will feature the aforementioned platforming as you journey through iconic locations from the movie as various characters. Players will uncover Christmas collectibles and enjoy some mini-games as well.
Not only will it be a nostalgia kick, but you will be able to play the game in co-op with one other person. It’s pretty clear GameMill is trying to set this up as a bit of a bonding experience for parents and their kids, and quite frankly im all for it. I know at least 1 item that will be under my Christmas tree this holiday!
Speaking of under the tree, the end of the trailer, which you can see at the bottom of this article, showcases the game in physical cases for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. This means that it should be getting a physical release for those that still prefer that. It will also be available on PC via Steam.
While no date has been given beyond the obvious holiday season, the price of the game is set at $39.99USD.
