A lot of fun and exciting new things have been announced at the Pokemon Presents presentation today! We finally have an update on highly anticipated games like Pokemon Champions and Pokemon Z-A!
Pokemon World Championship
The Pokemon in Anaheim, California on August 15-17 will hold tournements in Pokemon Violet/Scarlet, Pokemon Unite, Pokemon TCG and Pokemon Go. The players will receive an exclusive Pokemon card called Paradise Resort. This will take place in an arena for the first time. Each attendee will receive a code to redeem Toedscool in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. You can tune in to watch these events. There will also be giveaways for those who watch
Pokemon Concierge Season 2
Reunite with Haru and Psyduck for four new episodes in the magical stop-motion world of the Pokémon Resort on September 4th.
The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu
A new stop motion-animated series coming from Aardman Animation Studio is in the works. This series will take place from the perspective of a Pokemon. It will feature some new and familiar Pokemon in a “familiar” region. The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu is set to release in 2027.
Poke’Park Kanto
The first outdoor poke’mon park will open soon. You will see Pokemon playing in groups together. The park is divided in to two sections, Sedge Town, and the Pokemon Forest. The park is set to open in 2026 with tickets going on sale in 2025.
Pokemon Go Max Finale
The Pokemon Go Fest: Max Finale is set to take place Aug23-24th. Eteranatus will make his first ever appearance then! You will also have a lot of opportunities to encounter Gigantamax pokemon.
If you enter the Promo Code, GOFESTMAX, enable you to encounter a Gigantamax pokemon. This code expires August 3rd, 2025.
Pokemon Cafe
A pirate themed Lapras will appear in the Pokemon cafe on July 23rd! A summer time Jigglypuff will be rewarded just for logging in. There will also be pirate themed outfits and decorations available.
Pokemon Sleep
Pokemon Sleep is getting some legendary pokemon! Raikou, Entei, and Suicune are arriving Sepetmber 2025. The new area Amber Canyon is coming in November of 2025.
Pokemon Unite
Latios and Latias are landing in to Pokemon Unite. There will also be a new game mode called Electrode Volleyball and is available to play now.
Be sure to use the code UNITE0722 to redeem an emblems, and a 3-day license for Latios. Code expires August 31st, 2025.
Pokemon TCG
The new Mega Evolution trading cards are set to release on September 26th of 2025. We got a look at some cool Lucario, Bulbasaur cards and more!
Pokemon Friends
Pokemon Friends is a simple puzzle game for kids that can be played across the Nintendo Switch, Apple iOs, and Android phones. It is available today!
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Switch 2 free upgrade is available today! You will get smoother movement and sharper graphics. A new Tera Raid is approaching! Starting tomorrow you will have a chance to snatch a shining pokemon. Below are the dates and shiny Pokemon you can try to capture.

Pokemon Champions
We finally have some more information regarding Pokemon Champions. The game will be playable on your Nintendo Switch, Apple iOs, and Android phones. This game primarily focuses on pokemon battles.
You can use pokemon by linking your pokemon Home app to the game or find new ones right away within the game. You will need to recruit a pokemon team using some form of in game currency and create a team.
There will be ranked matches, private, singles, and doubles battles. They are also introducing a new mode called training mode. This isn’t a game mode, its a way to change stats of a pokemon. If you want to increase speed all the way up with low strength, you now have the ability to do so.
Pokemon Champions is set to release in 2026.
Pokemon Z-A
Pokemon Z-A take place in Lumiose City. You will choose either Urbain or Taunie to welcome you to Team MZ. Team MZ’s goal is to protect the city of Lumiose with your team. The game will feature a day or night feature.
In the day you will spend your time collecting while at night you will fight your way through the Z-A Royale. As you advance your way through the Royal, there will be powerful Trainers that will be waiting to fight you.
You can now style your character with more options than ever. Including your Furfrou! You can cut Furfrou to have all sorts of different styles of hair. You will be able to enjoy your style even more with the new photo mode!
As for side quests, Emma the Detective will ask for your help in solving mysteries, Mable the Researcher will ask you to research by catching pokemon, and people you will meet along the street will also ask for your help.
Meg-evoltion is coming back along with some new forms we haven’t seen yet such as Mega-Dragonite.
Pokemone Z-A is set to release on October 16th, 2025 on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. If you pre-order, you can receive Ralts along with a Gardevoirite stone as a gift. This is another Pokemon that can now Mega Evolve. If you pre-purchase digitally, you will also recieve 100 extra poke-balls.
