The Bandai Namco Summer Showcase arrived today with many announcements along the way. From RPGs to fighters, many genres were covered during the showcase. Were any of these on your bingo card? Check out all the announcements below:
My Hero Academia: All's Justice
Go beyond plus ultra! This upcoming fighter was developed in tandem with take control of your favorite My Hero Academia characters in this fighting game that follows the final story arc of the series. The Steam page boasts a rather large lineup of characters. "Play your favorite U.A. Students, Pro Heroes, and Villains from across the full story of My Hero Academia, including their final and full-powered versions!" This 3v3 fighter promises a new perspective on the final season in the story mode so even fans of the series can enjoy a fresh take when it's released.
Code Vein II
Code Vein II received a new story trailer at the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase. The follow up to the 2019 release promises the return of drain attacks, partner system, and blood code from the first game. However, this time the game will feature a woman, Lou, who will send the protagonist back in time to save the world. Code Vein II will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X & S, and Steam in 2026. You can wish list it now and keep an eye for more announcements in the coming months.
Patapon 1+2 Replay
Lovers of rhythm games, this is your time. Due to release July 11th on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC, PATAPON is an action adventure set to the beat of the drums. But this isn't just any rhythm game. The beat can only take you so far as you'll also have to be sure to be strategic in your game play. Create the right mix of classes for your Patapons and use the right battle command at the right time for the best success. PATAPON 1+2 Replay also comes with new support features to adjust the difficulties, the timings, and even keep icons displayed at all times should players need it. All the fun of the first ones with improvements to make sure the beat goes on!
Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree
Releasing September 19th, Towa and the Sacred Tree is a roguelike that promises high speed sword and staff action. You can select two characters from a list of 8 to go through the dungeons and earn graces to strengthen character abilities. Reach the end of the dungeon where the boss awaits you if you can. This story isn't just about the guardians you'll play as. The villagers all have their own unique side stories for you to engage with and enjoy along the way. Check out the newly released trailer below which highlights two of the guardians players can choose from. More information will be released each week on their social media as well!
DEATH NOTE Killer Within
Bandai Namco reminded us that they did release DEATH NOTE Killer Within in 2024 and the social deduction game continues on. The game holds up to 10 players in which players are split into teams with their own means to win. Team Kira must Eliminate L, Team Mello must eliminate Kira, Team L must hunt down the death note. With new roles coming Summer 2025, perhaps this game will see a resurgence.
Shadow Labyrinth
With just over two weeks to go, the Bandai Namco summer showcase gave us another look at gameplay for Shadow Labyrinth. This 2D action platformer promises an alternate take on PAC-MAN. During the showcase they mentioned, Amazon Prime's Secret Level Pac-man episode is a prequel to this game. This story will take place in an interconnected universe which will connect quite a few games such as Dig Dug for all you classic lovers. Play Shadow Labyrinth starting July 18th on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
Little Nightmares III
October 10th, just in time for for the scary season, we get Little Nightmares III. During the showcase we got another look at a new area in the game. Low and Alone are making their way through a carnival setting and hoping for the best. Fear of creepy wooden puppets anyone? For those playing on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PC your pre-orders are now open. Nintendo Switch pre-orders will open at a later date to be announced. Don't forget about the expansion pass "Secrets of the Spiral" that will provide two additional chapters and a costume set. There are also quite a few collectors editions available with items for die hard fans.
Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots
We learn that Pac-Man is a pre-order and early unlock character and see him enjoying a few rounds of golf. Players can customize time of day and weather conditions for a few additional challenges or ways to make the game more accessible. This golfing game launches on September 5, 2025 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.

Super Robot Wars Y
Grid based tactical combat series Super Robot Wars has another entry coming August 28th to PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Anime and specifically mech fans can enjoy bringing their favorite mechs into battle as The Ultimate Robot Anime Clash Returns! Choose robots from series such as Mobile Suit Gundam, Code Geass Lelouch of the Re;surrection, and Godzilla Singular Point. In this Strategic RPG, command your units to to victory while viewing beautifully animated combat scenes. We also get a new feature, Assist Link, in which non-pilot characters can help in battle. Players who pre-order can unlock three playable robots and additional missions.
The Blood of Dawnwalker
This 2026 release is already looking quite intriguing and while we didn’t get a full release date, we did get to see additional footage. It was described as a narrative sandbox and we heard a bit more about the game play loop. Play as a human during the day and as a vampire at night but it all comes with a cost. They also provided a QR code for viewers to see an additional 20 minutes of game play.
Tekken 8 Fahkumram Character Breakdown
If you’ve been following GSC, you know we have been following Fahkumram as his entrance to Tekken 8 comes closer. During the Bandai Namco Summer Showcase we got to hear from Michael Murray, producer of Tekken 8 as he gave us a deep drive on this upcoming character. This Muy Thai fighter may not be the fastest, but the power behind his hits is not to be taken lightly.

Dragonball Z Kakarot Daima DLC
New story comes to Dragon Ball Z: KARAROT with this DLC on July 17th. First announced at New York Comic Con in 2024, we’re getting information on the overall game play, the story, and even a few mini games to enjoy. Up for some fishing? It’s here in the third demon world! Part 2 of the DLC will be released at a later date. Check out more in the trailer below.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger
The first new entry into the Digimon Story series in ten years, Digimon Story: The Stranger will arrive on October 3rd. The Bandai Namco Summer Showcase showed off the combat system, new areas, and announced there will be over 450 Digimon available in this entry. The story is set in Yokyo and you can choose between two agents to play throughout the story. Get your starter Digimon and explore the strange events that bring you eight years in the past as you try to stop the end of the world. This is being touted as a classic RPG experience for longtime Digimon fans and all the newcomers to the series. Pre-orders are now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
