The games leaving Xbox Game Pass mid-July 2025 have been announced. The last announcement of games leaving the subscription service removed six titles, including Journey to the Savage Planet and two SteamWorld Dig titles!
Of course, we’re not lacking for things to play, with the Call of Duty WWII, Rematch and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3+4 all being added, or coming imminently.
All games marked to leave will leave Xbox Game Pass on 15 July 2025.

The title that jumped out to me is The Callisto Protocol. This is a great Dead Space-esque action horror game. It’s not overly long either, so I would recommend giving it a play before it leaves the service. A former Gamer Social Club game of the month, we all enjoyed our time with it. From the mind of Glen Schofield, the Dead Space series creator, The Callisto Protocol sees you fighting for survival in a high-security space prison. A strange outbreak is affecting everyone and turning them into bloodthirsty creatures.
With the imminent release of Mafia: The Old Country, it was a surprise to see Mafia: Definitivie Edition leaving the service. Of course, this is likely a coincidence for when the contract with Game Pass ends, but it could also be an opportunity to sell to new people if they are discovering the series for the first timwe with the new release.
