In Ruffy and the Riverside, the world of Riverside is in turmoil since the return of Groll, but there are plenty of things our heroes can do to help! One thing that Ruffy can do is help clean up 6 polluted ponds with the help of the Etoi, shy fuzzballs hiding across Riverside. So, here is our Ruffy and the Riverside – Dirty Spots Guide to help you clean up this mess and unlock the Mr. Clean and Clean Countryside achievements.

Etoi Sanctuary
The Dirty Spots side quest is available once you have been to the Tree of Life in the Wondrous Woods as part of the main story and earned the trust of the Etoi. Once you have done that, the Etoi Sanctuary in the forest area on the West side of Central Riverside will become accessible.

Once inside the Etoi Sanctuary, head to the balcony area to speak with Oddo, who will task you with cleaning up 6 ponds that have been contaminated with black pitch by the nefarious Groll.

To clean each of the dirty spots, you need to have 5 Etoi, which means you will have to find all 30 Etoi hidden across the game to complete this side quest.
For help finding all the Etoi, check out our Ruffy And The Riverside - Etoi Guide.
When you want to clean one of the polluted ponds, you need to speak with Oddo and say you have found one. If you have enough Etoi available, Oddo will send them off with you to find the dirty spot and clean it up.

Remember, all your side quests are tracked in the pause menu.

Most of the dirty spots are found in Central Riverside, and they all have a tree with white leaves standing nearby, which should help spot them.

1.
The first one is very close to the Etoi Sanctuary. You can find it near the large tree trunk with the metal band around it, close to the Five Fellows race track.
Just stand near it and the Etoi will do the rest. You will unlock the Mr. Clean achievement for cleaning your first dirty spot.

2.
The next dirty spot can be found near the big Blue Mushroom close to the castle in the southwest of Central Riverside.

3.
The third dirty spot is also close to the big blue mushroom, but on the other side of the nearby little river, with a bridge.

4.
The fourth dirty spot is behind the Serpent Puzzle.

5.
The fifth and final dirty spot is actually over by Riverside Town, on the East side and just outside the town wall.

Once you have cleaned up all the dirty spots, return to the Etoi Sanctuary and speak with Oddo, who will thank Ruffy for his help.

You are awarded one of the Legendary Gems, which Sir Eddler tasks Ruffy with collecting. To learn more about Sir Eddler’s side quest, check out our Ruffy And The Riverside - Legendary Gems Guide.
If you have been following this guide, you will unlock the Mr. Clean and Clean Countryside achievements for cleaning one and all the dirty spots, respectively.
