Ruffy And The Riverside – Bully Shark Guide

Ruffy and the Riverside is a game full of side quests and challenges to undertake, no thanks to the evil Groll threatening to destroy the whole of Riverside! One such task is helping Jobboo and the Water Watchdogs get rid of some pesky sharks taking up residence in ponds across Riverside. So here is our Ruffy and the Riverside – Bully Shark Guide to help you shift those finned fiends.

Jobboo

In order to start the Bully Shark side quest, you need to get rid of one of the three sharks to meet Jobboo.

You are looking for a pond on a raised bluff near the centre of Central Riverside. You’ll know it’s the right one as there will be a mean-looking shark in it, and a rope nearby hanging down from a floating island.

1.

Head over to the rope to find a barrel at the end of it, and hiding inside is a fish called Jolly. They will ask Ruffy to make the shark leave so the fish can return.

What you need to do is use your Swap to turn the shark into rocks. This will start a brief cutscene showing the shark sinking and the fish returning in celebration.

Speak to Jolly again, and he will offer to take you up to meet Jobboo, so hop in the barrel.

Jobboo is the leader of the Water Watchdogs, who look after the waterways of Riverside. He instructs Ruffy to free two other ponds from Bully Sharks, with a reward once the task is finished.

2.

The second Bully Shark is in a pond near the forest path that links Central Riverside to Riverside Town.

This time, you will need to fetch lava from either the small volcano hidden behind the stone block wall in the forest or the lava geyser near the middle of Central Riverside.

You may need to Swap some water to lava on your way.

Swap the pond to lava, and the Bully Shark will face a fiery end.

3.

The third and final Bully Shark can be found in the beach area leading to Sir Eddler’s Lab.

The pond is down near the water’s edge, and for this shark, you need to Swap the pond water with some nearby ice.

The Bully Shark will be frozen solid, and the pond will be free for the fish to return.

Head back up to speak with Jobboo, who will thank Ruffy for getting rid of the 3 Bully Sharks.

As a reward, Ruffy will receive a chest with one of the Legendary Gems inside. To learn more about Sir Eddler’s side quest and the Legendary Gems, check out our Ruffy And The Riverside - Legendary Gems Guide.
