Date Everything – Glitch City and Game Over Achievement Guide

Update 7/12/25: Since Hotfix 2 the previous exploit has been removed from the game. In order to now earn this achievement, you will need to interact with both Daemon and The Sassy Chap multiple times. For those who would prefer a video guide, check out the video below or continue reading for our text guide.

Firstly, be sure you complete Daemon’s storyline. You’ll know it’s complete when your only interactions with him are to change the ending. If you have content aware on you can just skip to the end with any ending. Do not realize him if this option exists for you.

Secondly, you’ll need to have already met the Sassy Chap. If you are having a hard time with this, you can follow our hard to find dateables guide. You’ll need to have met the Sassy Chap at least once.

At this point, you can now speak to Daemon and let him know the devs are in the game. He’ll be indifferent to this but it’s worth getting this conversation out the way. Daemon just wants to keep being a bug. This will be your indication that you have triggered the start of the storyline for glitch city.

Next, inform the Sassy Chap that there is a bug in the game. The chap will say it’s harmless but advise against speaking with Daemon again. At this point, you’ll be going back and forth between these two characters for a few days. The Sassy Chap will try to have you repair the bug while Daemon will continue to try and outdo the Sassy Chap by remaining in the game.

After a few days of going back and forth, Demon will tell you that he has moved to the house across the street. At this point, you can follow Daemon’s instructions. “Crouch underneath the dresser. Walk on through. And you’ll find a whole new world waiting for you.”

If you follow these steps you should find yourself outside and earn yourself the Glitch City achievement.

While you’re outside you might as well earn the Game Over achievement as well. All you need to do is walk out onto the road in front of your house and stand in the street until a car shows up. Once the car hits you, you’ll earn the Game Over achievement and find yourself back in your house ready to continue your game.

To unlock the Glitch City achievement in Date Everything, you'll need to escape the house without using a door. This can be done very early in the game.
