NetEase Games has entered the AAA space. The popular Asian publisher has been pumping out games lately and today they may have just announced their most impressive yet. Alongside developer 24 Entertainment Lin’an they have announced Blood Message, a cinematic, single-player action-adventure game with a heavy focus on the narrative. 

The official reveal trailer has already begun to turn heads online and for good reason. Powered by Unreal Engine 5 Blood Message is looking like a stunner, even if most of what we saw wasn’t gameplay. As mentioned at the top this is the first AAA game NetEase will publish and they are looking to make their mark.

"We are ushering players into a new generation of high adventure with Blood Message," said NetEase Games lead producer and executive vice president Zhipeng Hu in a press release. "As our first completely single-player focused experience from NetEase Games, after two decades of deep dedication to the gaming industry, we are prepared to deliver a truly epic and cinematic experience for players around the world."

While we didn’t get too many specifics, including a lack of a release date or timeline, Blood Message is coming to PC and consoles. What those consoles are we do not know, but it at least doesn’t appear to be any kind of console exclusive.
