The hills haven’t been very silent lately with all these games Konami has cooking. Just this morning, on June 12th, 2025, Konami confirmed via their Twitter/X accounts that a Silent Hill Remake is currently in development.

Not only that, but Bloober Team, the team responsible for the Silent Hill 2 remake, are confirmed to be the developer behind this remake as well. This is great to see, as last year’s release of the Silent Hill 2 Remake got a pretty great reception, selling over 2 million copies, and making it the best selling game in the franchise alongside pushing the franchise as a whole over the 10 million mark.
There is no word on when this might release, but with Silent Hill 2 remake dropping late last year, and Bloober Team hard at work on Cronos: The New Dawn, our guess is this game is a few years out at the very least.

When it does drop, we’re pretty confident Bloober Team will deliver, and luckily, Silent Hill fans still have Silent Hill F to look forward to on September 25th of this year.
The GSC team will keep their collective ears to the ground for any more news regarding the Silent Hill Remake, so be sure to check back here regularly.
