At Fate’s End Announced

Thunder Lotus, the development team behind Spiritfarer and 33 Immortals showed up to the Xbox showcase in a big way. Releasing in 2026, At Fate’s End is an action-adventure game with lots of family issues. In this fantasy world wield your blade against family all while deciding your family legacy.

Choose how you deal with your siblings, will you defeat them or can you find some common ground to move forward with? As Shan, decide if you’ll cut down your family with the legendary God Sword Aesus or with your words. It’s important to know there’s more to this game than just combat. You’ll need to keep your wits about you to solve narrative puzzles along the way. It isn’t just puzzles for you to figure out. Dialogue and psychology insight will be very helpful in getting the upper hand against family members as well.

Your family tree isn’t just the names on a branch either. Your skill tree is your family tree in At Fate’s End. As you navigate these relationships, you’ll expand your abilities and shape the family legacy. That’s a lot of pressure for Shan to deal with but the stakes are high when facing fate. At Fate’s End also comes with multiple endings based on your choices. Family is everything in this game, including your path to different endings.

Family tree or skill tree? There’s no difference here.

While there aren’t any trigger warnings per say, players be prepared. At Fate’s End will have complex and perhaps difficult themes when it comes to family issues. Family can be complicated and that’s no less true in At Fate’s End. According to the Steam page, the developers had this to say about the narrative:

The Narrative of AT FATE’S END can explore mature topics and themes in telling the complex stories and familial relationships between the characters. Characters sometimes use strong or mature language. Rare scenes will feature characters drinking.

At Fate’s End will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox Game Pass, and PC in 2026. As more information is available we here at Gamer Social Club will be sure to keep you updated. Don’t forget to check out the rest of our Xbox Showcase coverage to find your next wish list game.
