Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2025: Everything Announced

We’re well into the thick of showcase season now, and there’s still more to see! The Future Games Show is back for their summer showcase; and in case you missed it we’ve got a rundown of everything announced.

The Expanse Osiris Reborn (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a narrative-driven action RPG set in the universe of the popular sci-fi TV series The Expanse. Developed by Owlcat Games, the game takes inspiration from Mass Effect, featuring third-person tactical combat, cover-based gunplay, and deep character-driven storytelling.

Echoes of the End (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Echoes of the End is a cinematic third-person action-adventure game inspired by Icelandic landscapes. Players step into the role of Ryn, a powerful vestige with the ability to manipulate matter, as she embarks on a journey to rescue her abducted brother. Alongside her scholarly companion Abram, Ryn uncovers a long-lost conspiracy that threatens to reignite a devastating war.

Whispers in the Fog (PC)

Whispers in the Fog is a chilling horror story about a mysterious woman who appears in a dense fog, unsettling those who encounter her. As eerie whispers grow louder, the protagonist finds themselves trapped in a terrifying nightmare where reality and illusion blur. The story builds suspense through ghostly voices, unsettling visions, and an overwhelming sense of dread that follows the main character even beyond the fog.

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin (PC, PS5)

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an open-world anime RPG set in the universe of The Seven Deadly Sins. Developed by Netmarble, the game follows Prince Tristan of Liones as he embarks on a journey to restore order to Britannia, which has been thrown into chaos by a collision of time and space.

The Finals (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

The Finals: Season 7 - The Divide introduces a high-stakes conflict between CNS, a rogue hacker collective, and VAIIYA, an elite cybersecurity giant. As these two factions clash, players find themselves caught in the middle of a battle that reshapes the Arena.

This season brings a new map, fresh gadgets, and expanded customization options, including personal player numbers and signature stickers that tag objectives. A new Deep Shuffle feature lets players randomize their weapon and gadget skins each round

Herdling (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Herdling is a serene adventure game where players guide a herd of mystical creatures through breathtaking alpine landscapes. Developed by Okomotive, the creators of FAR: Lone Sails, the game focuses on companionship, exploration, and survival as players navigate treacherous terrain, solve environmental puzzles, and protect their herd from natural dangers.

Sleep Awake (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Sleep Awake is a first-person psychedelic horror game set in the last known city on Earth, where people mysteriously disappear when they fall asleep. Players take on the role of Katja, who must navigate a world filled with death cults, eerie experiments, and otherworldly forces while desperately trying to stay awake. The game blends FMV sequences with surreal visuals, creating a haunting atmosphere that blurs the line between reality and dreams. Developed by Eyes Out and published by Blumhouse Games, Sleep Awake offers a unique horror experience that challenges players to survive in a world where sleep itself is the greatest threat.

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Releasing on July 15th, Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is an upcoming adventure stealth game developed by River End Games and published by Nordcurrent. Set in the fictional city of Eriksholm, the game follows Hanna, a young orphan whose brother, Herman, disappears. As she embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind his disappearance, she is joined by two allies, Alva and Sebastian, each with unique abilities.

The Explorator (PC)

The Explorator is a first-person shooter with a unique blend of cel-shaded visuals and hand-drawn 2D animations. Set on the dangerous island of Ospolis, players embark on a quest to uncover the lost city of Atlantis while battling hordes of goblins and monsters that have emerged from underground tunnels. The game features survival mechanics, inventory management, and RPG elements, allowing players to upgrade their character and explore semi-open levels filled with secrets and side quests. The Explorator is available in early access on PC, with a full release planned for 2026.

Constance (PC)

Constance is a 2D hand-drawn action-adventure game where players control a young artist navigating a surreal inner world shaped by her declining mental health. Using paint-based mechanics, players can dive into surfaces, attack enemies, and solve puzzles while uncovering the protagonist's personal struggles. The game features six unique biomes, each representing different aspects of her psyche, and offers a non-linear exploration experience. Releasing on the 25th of November 2025.

Titan Quest 2 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Titan Quest 2 is an action RPG set in a mythological world inspired by ancient Greece. Players take on the role of a hero fighting against Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, who is corrupting the Threads of Fate and condemning mortals to eternal punishment. The game features a deep dual-mastery class system, allowing players to combine different abilities to create unique playstyles. Early Access is available on PC now.

Call of the Elder Gods (PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Call of the Elder Gods is a narrative puzzle adventure and a sequel to Call of the Sea. Set in a Lovecraftian world, the game follows Professor Harry Everhart and student Evangeline Drayton as they uncover ancient mysteries linked to a powerful artifact. Players explore richly detailed environments, solve complex puzzles, and experience a fully voice-acted story inspired by The Shadow out of Time.

Ascendant (PC)

Ascendant is a squad-based tactical FPS set in a dystopian biopunk world. Players compete in high-stakes matches, battling mutant wildlife and rival squads to secure biocores, which are crucial for survival. The game features dynamic environments, customizable weapons, and unpredictable events that force players to adapt quickly. Developed by PlayFusion, Ascendant offers a fast-paced, chaotic experience with strategic gameplay elements.

Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch (PC)

Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch is a spin off of the turn based tactical RPG, Lost Eidolons. As is the nature of spin offs there's a lot of changes to the formula here, with a move away from the 3d graphics of the original and a dramatic change in artstyle.

Popucom (PC)

Popucom is a cooperative multiplayer platformer developed by Hypergryph. Players are transported to a mysterious exoplanet where they must work together to defeat the invading Pomus using color-matching mechanics and puzzle-solving skills. The game blends 3D platforming, match-3 shooting, and companion-based abilities, creating a unique and engaging experience. With vibrant visuals and a focus on teamwork, Popucom offers a fun and challenging adventure for up to four players

Firefighter Simulator: Ignite (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is a firefighting simulation game where players step into the boots of a U.S. firefighter. Set in a sprawling city in the American Midwest, the game challenges players to battle dynamic fires, rescue civilians, and navigate hazardous situations using realistic firefighting techniques. It features cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, allowing teams to work together to contain flames and save lives.

The Bureau of Fantastical & Affairs (PC)

The Bureau of Fantastical & Arcane Affairs is a comedic first-person narrative adventure where players take on the role of an inspector tasked with fixing a fractured story. As part of the Bureau, players must ensure the world is hero-ready by issuing citations, speaking with inhabitants, and making choices that shape the fate of the tale. Once the inspection is complete, they step into the hero's boots to experience the consequences of their decisions.

WTF: Waifu Tactical Force (PC)

WTF: Waifu Tactical Force is a fast-paced 3v3 squad-based shooter that blends tactical movement, base building, and life simulation. Players build and manage a mercenary army of anime-inspired characters, upgrading their Mother Base and unlocking new abilities. The game features high-speed combat, deep customisation, and a unique Y2K aesthetic. Developed by Team Waifu, it is set to release in 2026 on PC and consoles.

Hirogami (PC, PS5)

Hirogami is a 3D action platformer inspired by the ancient Japanese art of origami. Players take on the role of Hiro, a fan-wielding master of folding, who must save his fragile home from digital invaders known as the Blight. Using origami-based transformations, Hiro can take on different animal forms to traverse the world, solve puzzles, and battle enemies.

EVE Frontier (PC)

EVE Frontier is a hardcore survival MMO set in a massive galaxy where players command powerful ships and build modular bases. The game features a player-driven economy, allowing users to create custom currencies, establish markets, and trade assets. Players must fight for survival against rival factions and waves of AI-controlled drones while exploring over 100,000 unique star systems. Developed by CCP Games, EVE Frontier integrates blockchain technology, enabling players to modify and program in-game structures in real time.

Formula Legends (PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Formula Legends is an arcade racing game that takes players through different eras of Formula racing history, from the 1960s to the modern day. Developed by 3DClouds, the game features a story mode where players relive key moments in motorsport history, mastering legendary cars and competing in era-based championships. With 16 unique car models, 14 tracks that change based on the time period, and dynamic weather conditions, Formula Legends offers a mix of accessibility and depth.

Ahoy (PC)

Ahoy is an open-world multiplayer game set in the late 18th-century Caribbean. Players take on the role of captains, merchants, or privateers, navigating treacherous waters, engaging in naval battles, and trading goods. The game features historically accurate ships, dynamic weather, and a living world filled with opportunities for exploration and conflict. Players can form crews, manage resources, and interact with key historical figures as they forge their own legacy in the West Indies.

Scum (PC)

Scum is an open-world survival game developed by Gamepires and published by Jagex. Set on a dystopian island, players take on the role of prisoners who must fight to survive while being monitored for entertainment. The game features deep character customisation, realistic survival mechanics, and a complex metabolism system (including shitting, apparently) that affects stamina, health, and combat performance.

Deathground (PC)

Deathground is a survival horror game where players must navigate dangerous environments while being hunted by deadly dinosaurs. The game can be played solo or cooperatively with up to three players, requiring teamwork and strategy to complete objectives and evade threats. Featuring dynamic dinosaur behavior, procedural elements, and intense stealth mechanics, Deathground delivers a suspenseful and unpredictable experience.

Hell is Us (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Hell Is Us is a third-person action-adventure game set in the war-torn country of Hadea, where supernatural creatures known as Hollow Walkers have emerged following a mysterious event called the Calamity. Players take on the role of Rémi, a United Nations peacekeeper who goes AWOL to search for his parents.

Fading Echo (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Fading Echo is a fast-paced action-adventure game set in the floating islands of Corel. Players control One, a young Legend on a quest to uncover her past while harnessing the power of water. One can shift between human and liquid form, allowing her to navigate obstacles, solve puzzles, and unleash devastating attacks.

Sacrifire (PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

SacriFire is an RPG that blends fantasy and science fiction, following Ezekiel Ridan, a young soldier training to join the elite sect of the Church of Sheol. Tasked with protecting the underground city of Antioch from demons, Ezekiel soon finds himself caught in a struggle thousands of years in the making. The game features a unique combat system that merges turn-based and real-time mechanics, allowing players to switch between different combat disciplines and craft weapons.

Truxton Extreme (PC, PS5)

Truxton Extreme is a modern revival of the classic vertical-scrolling shoot-’em-up Truxton. Players pilot the Super Fighter spaceship, battling waves of alien invaders using powerful weapons like the Thunder Laser, Homing Shot, and Truxton Beam. The game features three modes: Story, Arcade, and Heart Stopper, each offering intense bullet-hell action.

Lynked: Banner of the Spark (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Lynked: Banner of the Spark is an action RPG that blends hack-and-slash combat with town-building mechanics. Set in the distant future, players take on the role of one of the last remaining humans, fighting against rogue AI forces known as Combots. Using the Wyre, a grappling hook that enhances mobility and combat, players battle enemies, complete missions, and recruit robotic allies to expand their settlement. The game features ten weapon classes, co-op multiplayer for up to three players, and a customisable town where players can craft, farm, and interact with Unibots.

Joe & Mac Retro Collection (PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Joe & Mac Retro Collection is a compilation of three classic 16-bit platformers originally developed by Data East. The collection includes Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja, Congo's Caper, and Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics, all of which were released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in the early 1990s. Players can experience both the western and uncensored Japanese versions of each game, with added features such as save states, a rewind function, and local cooperative play for Joe & Mac 1 and 2.

Directive 8020 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Directive 8020 is a sci-fi survival horror game developed by Supermassive Games. Set aboard the colony ship Cassiopeia, the game follows a crew stranded on Tau Ceti f, a distant planet that was meant to be humanity's last hope. After crash-landing, the crew discovers they are not alone and must evade a deadly alien organism capable of mimicking its prey.

The game features a new Turning Points system, where you can rewind the game and see what happens if you took a different path.

Cairn (PC, PS5)

Cairn is a survival climbing game developed by The Game Bakers. Players take on the role of Aava, a professional mountaineer attempting to become the first person to summit Mount Kami. The game features realistic climbing mechanics, requiring players to manually position Aava's limbs, manage her stamina, and place pitons to secure progress. With no user interface, players must observe Aava's breathing and posture to gauge exhaustion.

Ground Zero (PC)

Ground Zero is a retro survival horror game set in post-apocalyptic South Korea. Two months after a devastating meteor impact, elite operative Seo-Yeon and her Canadian partner are sent to investigate the ruins of Busan. As they navigate the city, they encounter terrifying mutated creatures and uncover a deeper conspiracy behind the disaster. The game features fixed camera angles, classic survival horror mechanics, and intense combat, including firearms and melee attacks.

Hark the Ghoul (PC)

Hark the Ghoul is a first-person dungeon crawler with Soulslike elements, set in a dark Victorian city where inhabitants have lost their sanity. Players explore interconnected zones, battling monstrous creatures and uncovering secrets hidden beneath the city. The game features a mix of firearms, magic, and melee combat, along with immersive sim mechanics that allow creative problem-solving. Developed by Deep Denizens and published by Kwalee, Hark the Ghoul is set to release in 2025.

Hela (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Hela is a 3D cooperative adventure game where players take on the role of a brave mouse exploring a Scandinavian-inspired world. The story follows a group of familiars on a quest to save their kind witch, who has fallen ill. Players must gather ingredients, brew magical potions, and solve puzzles while navigating vibrant landscapes.

Luto (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Luto is a first-person psychological horror game where players embody a person trapped in their own home, struggling to find a way out. The game explores themes of grief, anxiety, and depression, leading players through unsettling environments filled with sensory and environmental horror. Developed by Broken Bird Games and published by Selecta Play, Luto is set to release on 22 July 2025.

Reach (Meta Quest 3, Steam VR, PlayStation VR2)

Reach is a cinematic action-adventure VR game developed by nDreams Elevation. Players take on the role of a reluctant hero exploring an underground civilisation, using full-body parkour mechanics to jump, climb, and zip-line through environments. The game features gesture-driven traversal, advanced physics, and combat against mythical threats.

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping (PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is a detective puzzle game developed by Happy Broccoli Games. Players take on the role of the Duck Detective, who is invited to a luxury campsite to investigate a series of thefts and vandalism. Using deduction mechanics, players must inspect evidence, interrogate suspects, and solve puzzles to uncover the truth behind the mysterious events.

Ratatan (PC)

Ratatan is a rhythm-based roguelike action game and the spiritual successor to Patapon. Players control Ratatans, magical creatures who use instruments to command armies of Cobuns in side-scrolling battles. The game features a seven-button rhythm system, where precise inputs trigger Fever Mode, enhancing abilities and evolving the soundtrack. With procedurally generated levels, over 50 unique characters, and online co-op for up to four players, Ratatan blends strategy and music-driven gameplay.

Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile (PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile is an upcoming adventure and investigation game developed by Microids Studio Lyon. Based on Agatha Christie’s classic novel, the game follows Hercule Poirot and private detective Jane Royce as they unravel a complex murder mystery aboard a luxury cruise on the Nile. Set in the 1970s, the game introduces new locations, extended storylines, and a dual-protagonist system, allowing players to experience the investigation from different perspectives.

House Flipper 2: Scooby Doo DLC(PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

House Flipper 2: Scooby-Doo DLC is an expansion that brings the Mystery Inc. gang into the world of home renovation. Players can explore six haunted properties inspired by classic Scooby-Doo episodes, uncovering clues and solving mysteries while restoring each location. The DLC introduces over 500 themed items, including furniture, decorations, and interactive elements that reference the show.

Fittingly the DLC is set to launch this October.

Mafia: The Old Country (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Mafia: The Old Country is a third-person action-adventure game set in early 1900s Sicily. Players take on the role of Enzo Favara, a young man who escapes a brutal childhood in the sulphur mines and seeks to prove himself in the Torrisi crime family. The game focuses on the origins of the Sicilian Mafia, featuring a linear narrative with cinematic storytelling, intense combat, and period-authentic environments.

Releasing on the 8th of August 2025.

Tenet of the Spark (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Tenet of the Spark is a cinematic action game where players seamlessly switch between three timelines: modern day, the Viking age, and the Aztec world. The protagonist, Will, discovers he has a mysterious ability called the Spark, which allows him to perceive and interact with the world through the eyes of his Viking and Aztec ancestors. Each timeline offers unique combat styles, puzzles, and environmental interactions, requiring players to strategically shift between them to overcome challenges.

Crisol: Theater of Idols (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

Crisol: Theater of Idols is a first-person horror action game set in Hispania, a twisted version of Spain. Players take on the role of Gabriel, a soldier who uses his own blood as both a weapon and a curse. The game features intense combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving, with a dark narrative rooted in folklore and religious themes. Players must navigate the cursed island of Tormentosa, facing terrifying enemies and uncovering its sinister history.

Ritual Tides (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S)

And finally we got a first look at Ritual Tides, a first-person horror game set on a fictional British island filled with Lovecraftian terrors. Players find themselves washed ashore with the goal of uncovering the island's dark secrets. The game features gruesome enemy designs, environmental storytelling, and a unique approach to weapon mechanics.
