Surprise! We finally have some news about one of the most highly anticipated Japanese games in production. Pragmata made it's long awaited return appearance at today's PlayStation State of Play.
The title which sends players to a dystopian near-future to explore a lunar world will launch on PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X/S in 2026. In a cheeky nod to the game being long-MIA, the trailer finished with a note to "its real XD".

Pragmata is a new IP from legendary Japanese developer, Capcom. The developer are currently one of the best in the business, delivering huge recent sales success including for Monster Hunter and Resident Evil titles.

To accompany the release window announcement today, we have a new trailer for the game. The First Contact trailer gives us over 2 minutes of new footage showcasing the games duo protagonists and gameplay.
The unique "˜two-in-one' game's trailer showcases the mysterious Delphi Corporation and more story information.
There is fast and exciting gunplay against various mech enemies. As well as hacking abilities from the AI girl we will control, who we now know will be called Diana.
We don't learn too much more about the mysterious game from the latest trailer, but its very assuring that Pragmata is very much alive and we'll have our hands on it next year.
