It feels weird that we’re on the cusp of a brand new games system launching. But, here we are. The Nintendo Switch 2 launches this week on 5 June 2025, and we’ve pulled together all the Switch 2 launch games into one place.
Of course, almost all of the original Nintendo Switch games will work on it, so there’s plenty of choice. We’re highlighting the games launching either directly on to Switch 2, releasing a Switch 2 version, or a game that’s receiving a Switch 2 update option.
And don’t forget with the Switch 2 you get access to the GameCube Expansion Pack in Nintendo Online. On launch you will have access to F-Zero GX, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and Soulcalibur 2 if you are subscribed to Nintendo Online.

The Red Bell’s Lament (Switch 2)
