It's a good day for Pokemon news as Pokemon Legends: Z - A now has a release date and a Pokemon Presents live stream has been dated for July.
Pokemon Legends: Z - A release date
Nintendo have confirmed that Pokemon Legends: Z - A will launch on October 16 2025. The game will launch for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 systems.
From the Switch 2's reveal earlier this year, we knew that Legends: Z-A would be getting a Switch 2 Edition. The Switch 2 Edition of the game will utilise the new systems power and will play at higher frame rates with improved graphics. Owners of the Switch version of the game, digital or physical, can upgrade to the Switch 2 Edition.
Alongside the release date reveal, the cover art for the game has now been revealed. It's actually quite a busy one for a Pokemon game:

"Trainers can tune in to the broadcast on the official Pokémon YouTube channel for the latest news and updates from the world of Pokémon."
It is unknown what will be announced during the show but fans are already speculating online about a new mainline series entry. The live stream will take place at 6am PST. The Pokemon YouTube channel can be found here.
