For those eagerly awaiting the launch of GTA VI, there is a game releasing in just a few weeks that may help scratch that itch. MindsEye from Builds a Rocket Boy and IO Interactive launches on June 10th and today the developer dropped a lengthy gameplay trailer as well as a roadmap for what players can expect post launch.
Builds a Rocket Boy, the developers behind MindsEye happen to be made up of many former Grand Theft Auto developers, and you can tell from the look of the game. You will play as Jacob Diaz, a former soldier who has a neural implant, known as MindsEye. Due to his memory loss and flashbacks Diaz will work to find the secrets behind his implant.
MindsEye will take place in a futuristic desert metropolis called Redrock. It has all the feelings of a Grand Theft Auto game with a large sandbox like map, plenty of cars to drive and a whole lot of guns.
Everything we’ve seen from the game so far has looked fairly good, though previews came out last week that wern’t as high on the game as many had hoped. In fact many were hoping the game may get delayed after seeing the previews, but that doesn’t seem to be happening.
Roadmap Filled With Content
Aside from the gameplay trailer we also got a lengthy roadmap for the rest of 2025. While the game will launch with the single player campaign and some races it won't feature multiplayer right away.

For those that are looking for a multiplayer experience it looks like you will need to wait until the fall. Outside of that the roadmap looks to add many missions and some "special collaborations".
MindsEye releases June 10th on PC, Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5.
