At combo breaker, one of the premier fighting game tournaments for the community Katsuhiro Harada the long-time director of the franchise took the stage to reveal a full gameplay reveal of the upcoming character Fahkumram before the top 8 finals of the tournament.

While I reported before that the character had a polarizing reception, being at the event myself the reception for the character this time was overwhelmingly positive as the crowd heavily cheered with his gameplay reveal.

Fahkumram looks to be a punishing long range character like before but also seems like ability to armor through attacks is being emphasized even more and his visual design looks updated with a golden crown and better visual effects as his body fuses through with lightning during many of his moves giving the character a more epic feel.

While fans may have been satisfied with that alone, they got even more as after the release date for Fahkumram was revealed, it was also shown that fan favorite Armor King will be the next character. The crowd literally erupted with excitement when this was shown that people in the hotel outside were asking what was actually going on.

Fahkumram is set to release on July 7th for early access with a full release of the character following 3 days later. Armor King was not given a release date but should be launching not long after
