A pillar within Obsidian Entertainment has left. After 12 years with the studio Carrie Patel, who's most recent credit was the game director for Avowed, has left the studio to join Netflix's venture into gaming.
Patel updated her LinkedIn page today to show she left the company in May and has joined Night School, a studio under the Netflix umbrella. Her title at Night School is Game Director. What that game is yet is unknown at this time.

Patel at least leaves on a high from the studio with Avowed receiving a lot of love from critics and players alike. We at Gamer Social Club gave it a 9.5 in our review saying:
"The story is good, and it kept me entertained throughout my playthrough but what kept me wanting more was the world. I wanted to explore, talk to more people, and just stay in the Living Lands. The exploration is top tier for me, along with the combat, I can see myself playing through Avowed repeatedly. Like I said this game made a me magic user and I want to unlock more of the combat tree and see how powerful I can be."
We wish Carrie all the success at her new role and can't wait to see what her team at Night School comes up with.
