Wildfire’s have become a major talking point in the world the last few years. I know here in Canada and in California they have been in the news more than we’d like to see. Today, developer Exkee is bringing wildfire’s to the forefront again, but in a much different, safer form, with the announcement of Rescue Ops: Wildfire.
Rescue Ops: Wildfire is a simulation game that will put you squarely into the intense world of combating wildfires as a firefighter. Launching into early access on Steam, Xbox PC and Epic Games Store in late 2025 players will deal with realistic and unpredictable wildfire behavior. Rescue Ops will also feature an authentic fleet of firefighting vehicles to help keep the community safe.
With solo or co-op missions of 2-4 players you will be in control of it all, except the fires that is. You will take the initial emergency call before assembling your squad and getting your equipment ready. Use aerial vehicles to travel to and assess the fire as well as locate any trapped or injured civilians. Once on the ground you will use all your fleet’s capabilities to help fight the fires from the frontline. A dynamic weather system where the fires react to things such as wind ensures no two fires will be the same
