You’ve made it to the lively little village where the Gestral’s live. There’s lots to see and do in their village and is a fun little section of the game. And of course there’s a couple collectibles to grab! With 1 journal and 1 music recording to grab it’s worth taking the time to explore before continuing your journey.

Before we get into the guide for the collectibles, I’d just like to point out I suggest going to the Gestral Merchant in the village first. As soon as you enter the village he is to your left. If you fight Jujubree and defeat him you can purchase the Demonam weapon off of him. Additionally you can purchase the Critical Moment Pictos and some Polished Chroma Catalysts to help level up your current weapons (or save them for later).

Journal #1 – Expedition 52

Upon entering the village make a left and follow the signs for the arena. After making your way to where the arena area is go left where you will find an area with a giant Gestral doctor on your right. Do a complete 180 to notice the sign next to him that points you in the direction of the arena. In behind the sign is a small little path that will lead you to the journal.

Music Record – Nocturne Pour Un Masque de Tristesse

Now either head back to the entrance of the village or make your way over to the far right hand side of it. Either way you are looking for a sign that says “Turn Back”. Don’t turn back and instead take the path up to The Manor.

Now inside the Manor there is actually a secret room. Head up the first set of stairs to find the large dining room. Within this room is the secret room. To unlock it you need to turn 4 switches. If you need a very detailed guide on how to unlock this room we have a guide here. However for this guide I will simply show you the spots where they are.

Once you’ve flipped the 4th switch the hidden room will appear under one of them. Slip into this newly opened area and find the music record.
