In the ever-growing catalogue of Nintendo classic games in Switch Online, we are today being treated to a Fire Emblem Game Boy Advance title, as Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones joins Switch Online for Expansion Pack members. The game originally released in 2004 in Japan and throughout 2005 in other regions, so it's been a long time since this title was accessible.

For those unfamiliar with one of Nintendo's second-tier, yet very successful franchises, this entry of Fire Emblem is a tactical RPG and the eighth game in the series. The game takes place on the continent of Magvel where you will "guide Eirika and Ephraim on their twin quest to rebuild Renais in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones,"
This entry to the series is one that resonated with fans and media alike, as the Metacritic critic score for the game sits at 85; with the user score sitting at 8.7/10.
