If you thought that Diablo IV, Blizzard’s online-only action RPG, wasn’t hellish enough, then we have great news! Berserk, the iconic manga series from the late great Kentaro Muira, is heading to the lands of Sanctuary with a collaboration that feels right. As shown at the end of the trailer, which does a wonderful job of capturing the grim aesthetic and tone of Berserk, this collaboration will be available in Diablo IV on Tuesday, 6th May, 2025.
For those who are not familiar with the series, Berserk is a dark fantasy manga known for its intense storytelling, graphic violence, and deeply emotional themes. It follows the story of Guts, a lone mercenary with a massive sword and a tragic past, as he battles through a brutal, medieval-inspired world filled with demons, corruption, and betrayal. The series explores themes of fate, free will, and the struggle for meaning in a cruel and chaotic world. Game Director Hidetaka Miyazaki has said on many occasions that he was inspired by Berserk for many of the games he has directed, including Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring.
This crossover looks to bring a sizable helping of Berserk-themed goodies for Diablo fans to enjoy, ranging from full armour sets for player characters, a new pet, and mount armour, to name a few. But some of these won’t come easily, as players will have to defeat tough elite enemies to earn Behelits to be traded at the Berserk Reliquary to claim items.

- Brand of Sacrifice Marking
- Foretold Eclipse Headstone
- Od of the Berserker Emblem
Some items, including armour sets and the new pet, will be purchasable from the in-game store from May 6th to the end of Season 8: Belial's Return.

Gamers can also earn the Skull Behelit Mount Trophy as a Twitch Drop from watching partnered streamers on the platform.
Now that we’ve seen what’s coming with this collaboration, it’s hard to think of a better blending of franchises. A match made in Hell, you might say!
