Bethesda and Xbox are going all out with the promotion of Doom: The Dark Ages with a new TV spot premiered at Wrestlemania. The spot was followed up by the full trailer released on Youtube.
The new trailers shows off impressive visuals as hordes from Hell attack humans. A Demon who appears to be the games main antagonist appears and is trying to take control of the world, but one man stands in his way, Doom Slayer.

Doom: The Dark Ages is the latest in the long running franchise and first since 2020’s Doom Eternal and the third of the modern games. The Dark Ages is a prequel to 2016’s Doom reboot and is developed by Id Software. While the gameplay is expected to be more of the same, with fast movements and exciting gun play, the setting will be a jarring change to some as The Dark Ages will take place in a more medieval setting. The series iconic Doom Slayer will return as the last hope for a kingdom fighting against the forces of Hell.
Despite being the first Doom game since being acquired by Xbox’s parent company Microsoft, it will not be exclusive to Xbox. The Dark Ages will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and PC. The game will release on May 15th, with those purchasing the premium edition or collectors edition getting it 2 days early on May 13th.
