Well, we’ve finally learned a little bit about what Respawn Entertainment have been working on. Through all the nonsense about a Titanfall 3 game being in development (or not as the case maybe); it seems that their next title is going to be Star Wars Zero Company.
Little is known about Star Wars Zero Company at this stage, outside of it being a single-player turn-based tactics game. We’ll learn more about the title at the Star Wars Celebration on Saturday 19 April.
We can of course try to decipher some of the lore in the game, and who we might be playing as from the key art that was revealed alongside the game’s existence.

I’m sure someone who is better versed in Star Wars lore will correct me, but I can certainly see a Jedi-looking character (the one with the lightsaber, obviously). Then there’s the Mister Freeze-looking character to the left, who looks to be carrying a rifle of sorts. To the right we have two clone trooper / bounty hunter looking characters with an R type unit droid.
The intriguing character is the central one, holding a hologram of what seems to be a droid from the prequel trilogy. The classic “Roger, Roger” dudes, which might gives us an indication of when the game takes place. All speculation at this point, but I’m excited to see what this one is about.
A turn-based single player tactics game from Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor? Who knew. Are you excited from how this sounds, and do you have any theories about the characters and setting? Let us know in the comments.
