Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered Pre-Orders Go Live

For those who didn't have a PS Vita and didn't live in Japan but wanted to play Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny, your time has come. Bandai Namco and B.B. Studio have dropped the official game play trailer for the remaster which will be available digitally on PC and Nintendo Switch.Â Unfortunately at this time, there is no news on a physical release.

For the first time since its initial release in 2012, the game will be available with English localization. The trailer highlights the mech battles and customization within the game. In Battle Destiny Remastered, align with one of three factors to take your place alongside pilots and Mobile Suits from the SEED universe.

Customization is highly important as your mech is your power. Be sure to power up your suit and weapons in the UI menu. Make sure you make your mech match your playstyle for the best experience. In this fast-paced hack-and-slash, your mech can only do so much if you don’t match the style. Go ahead and give all the different mechs a chance.

According to the Steam page, "The save system has been reworked to make replays easier.” They also shared that the difficulty has been adjusted and there will be new modes such as lock-on modes and controller settings to ensure smoother gameplay. Considering this game will not be seeing a Playstation release at this time, it’s good to hear time went into the controller settings.

Fans of the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series will enjoy side stories from the universe. With over 100 mobile suits available from SEED, SEED Destiny and so many other spin-off titles, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to try different combinations. Will you align with Earth Alliance Forces, ZAFT, or the Archangel? Perhaps you’ll have a different playthrough for each. With this many different suits, there is plenty of time to try all different ways of playing.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered will be available digitally on Nintendo Switch and Steam starting May 22, 2025. Preorders are available on Steam and Nintendo Switch right now.
