Another Crab’s Treasure Update Has A Release Date, Physical Edition Coming

Get ready for more chaos under the sea with our friendly crab Kril. As announced by developer Aggro Crabs Twitte/X account, the update for Another Crab’s Treasure (which I reviewed as my first ever article on this site here) titled “Year Of The Crab” will drop on Playstation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Gamepass and Steam on April 21st, 2025.

The update in question will feature a whole host of new content, including new game plus, new bestiary, a new boss rush mode, and more that has yet to be to detailed by the devolper. If you’re playing on Nintendo Switch, don’t worry. While the update has yet to have an official release date, they have confirmed that the update is on the way to the switch. This isn’t that much a shock as the game itself took longer to come to switch then others platforms.

For those who may wondering “what is this crab game, and who is kril?” Another Crab’s Treasure is souls like (crab like?) platformer. You play as Kril, an underwater crab who was minding his own business when his shell was taken in the name of the Queen because of taxes he didn’t know he owed or understands the definition of. The goal the game is to get your shell back.

That’s also not the end of the Kril released news today. AGGRO CRAB also announced in Twitter/X that a physical version of Another Crab’s Treasure will be available at some point in 2025, thanks to a collaboration with IAM8BIT.

Are you excited to play the new update do out this month? Will you be pre ordering the physical version of the game? Comment below
