It usually not good news when a game delays its upcoming release. However, this is a story where the reason for delay feels wonderfully positive. Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade has announced it will be delayed from April 24, 2025 to May 15, 2025.
In this case, Yasha’s delay is not due to last minute touch ups or bugs plaguing a smooth game. In our preview earlier this year, we didn’t find any bugs or concerns that would be a cause for delay. So what could be stopping the release? We hope the team over at 7QUARK is having a small celebration. A delay based on pre-order numbers exceeding expectations is no small feat.

“To ensure a simultaneous release across all versions, we are focusing on increasing production,” Game Source Entertainment shared in their official twitter post. In our previous coverage, we noted this would be the first game from 7QUARK to be released on Steam. Until now, much of their catalogue was on mobile.
For those who are unsure what Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade is, prepare to travel to a beautiful Japanese countryside in this roguelite action RPG. Play as one of three characters in their own, somewhat intertwining stories. Each character comes with their own fighting style and motivations to play as.
During your runs, you’ll come across a multitude of demons and other fun characters along the way. Take part in the demon festival, enjoy delicious bowls of ramen, and choose from weapons all with their own buffs and abilities. Whether you play as Yasha, Sara, or Taketora, you’re in for quite the journey. It’s just going to take an extra few weeks for us to begin the journey!

Gamer Social Club will continue to cover Yasha in the next few weeks so keep an eye for all upcoming updates. Yasha: Legends of the Demon Blade is now due to release May 15, 2025 on PC, Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox series X & S.
