The long awaited sequel to Spirit of The North is set to release in the first half of 2025. Today developer Infuse Studio alongside publisher Silver Lining Interactive announced that Spirit Of The North 2 will be coming to consoles and PC on May 8th.
Spirit Of The North 2 will feature a 16 hour long campaign in which you will take control of a lone fox, guided by your raven companion. You will be tasked with freeing the lost Guardians from a dark shaman named Grimnir. Along the way you will explore the vast, beautiful Northern Isles as you uncover ancient mysteries, harness newfound abilities, and cleanse the land of corruption.

While critics didn’t seem to love the original game when it launched in 2020, players had a much different perspective. The game is only sitting at a 59 on Metacritic for the Nintendo Switch, however player reviews on steam are glowing with 85% of the reviews being positive. With their experience Infuse is looking to take the sequel to new heights.
Physical Collector’s Edition Coming
For those of you who prefer physical games, Silver Lining is happy to announce a Signature edition for PC and PlayStation 5. The signature edition will feature many pack ins for collectors including:
- A signed, full-color art & lore booklet
- Two embroidered patches
- Four intricately crafted metal character pins
- Two breathtaking art cards
- A duo of mystical Runescript cards
It should be noted that the PlayStation 5 version will include a physical disc while the PC version will only feature a code inside the box. At this time there is no mention of an Xbox physical edition. You can pre-order the physical editions here.
