Ah, Love Review

Ah, Love is a charming new indie puzzle game from developer Lovixsama and publisher Xitilon, available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows.

Achievements

This is an easy Gamerscore title that, with a guide, can be completed in approximately 45 minutes to an hour. With a triple stack available on Xbox, there’s currently 3,000 Gamerscore to be earned. Future Title Updates will likely push each version up to 5,000 Gamerscore. You can purchase a bundle containing all three versions or buy your preferred version individually.

Gameplay

Ah, Love is all about uniting two hearts as one. You drag and drop tiles to guide the hearts through the level, maneuvering them into a shared square. On Xbox, the game features 40 levels to complete.

Early levels are simple, with built-in tutorials to ease you in. The objective is to swap tiles to create a path that brings the hearts together. Since the hearts are naturally drawn to each other, strategically shifting blocks helps them move within their squares and transition between different areas.

As the game progresses, new obstacles appear, which include spike traps, a black heart that tries to steal your love, and switch walls that open and close pathways.

The result is a relaxing yet engaging puzzle experience that will challenge your intuition and keep you thinking on your feet.

Final Verdict

Ah, Love delivers a mentally stimulating puzzle experience. While it can be completed quickly with a guide for fast Gamerscore, tackling it without assistance offers a much longer and more rewarding challenge. The minimalist design sets it apart from most puzzle games on the market, making it a refreshing and unique experience.

Ah, Love was reviewed on the Xbox Series X, with a review code provided by Xitilon. The game is out now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Windows.
