The Precinct, a neon-noir action game where you play as police officer Nick Cordell Jr has received its official release date. After experiencing a couple of delays the game will now release May 13th on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
Announced today by publisher Kwalee Games and developer Fallen Tree Games, navigating a 1980’s America to combat gangs and police corruption will come as a much more polished game thanks to the previous delays. Despite its delays, The Precinct has been on our radar here at Gamer Social Club for a little while now.
As Nick Cordell Jr you will be tasked with everyday police tasks, from dull parking infractions to more intense things like bank heists and street racing. It’s an effort to keep the citizens of Averno safe and it won’t come easy for Cordell, who is fresh out of the Academy. Fallen Tree Games has called The Precinct their love letter to classic cop movies. It’s a high bar, but one they think they can achieve.
“We’re so excited to finally share our work with the fans! Their support has been amazing, and we truly appreciate their patience as we worked on The Precinct to deliver the best possible experience. We can’t wait to see their reactions when they finally get to play the game,” said Lewis Boadle, Art Director, Fallen Tree Games.
