Cristiano Ronaldo Is Playable In Fatal Fury: City Of The Wolves

Fighting games are no strangers to guest characters coming. Mortal Kombat has become known for awesome guests like Spawn and Omni Man in different games. And even more out there additions such as Negan in Tekken and Pac-Man in Street Fighter x Tekken.

However, Fatal Fury : City of the Wolves is perhaps the first traditional fighting game to feature a real life person as it’s been revealed that legendary footballer , Cristiano Ronaldo will be a playable character in the game. Now being an American, soccer isn’t as popular here and I’m not into sports outside MMA and Boxing but, even I know who Ronaldo is. Given that a big portion of SNK’S fan base is in LATAM countries, this collaboration isn’t quite as out there as it seems.

Ronaldo being in the game in some way was actually shown back in September but in what capacity wasn’t really talked about. Him being a playable character is having varied reactions to legitimate excitement to amusement that SNK actually got a living legend as a playable character. One thing is for certain, I don’t think any fighting game will ever have a guest this unexpected again.
