At this point, you’ve gotten through Sean and Rachel’s memories and are on your way to unlocking your own, and once again, I’m here to reveal that which you have feared enough to cast out of your mind in the first place. That’s right, we are going to be Breaking the Loop in Karma: The Dark World!
You’ve just woken up from what seems like a bad dream, but you’re having what appears to be another. Now you’re stuck in a loop and can’t figure out how to break it. Luckily, Leviathan and Mother have sent me to assist you in your task.

Breaking The Loop
When you wake up in your bed as a child, the first thing you need to do is go to the desk next to your bed. Open it, and notice a notebook with a bunch of math problems in it. They don’t make much sense now, but they will later. You don’t have to memorize anything, but remember it’s here for later.
Next, head to the kitchen, and your mom will run you through some tasks. You’ll be setting the table, going into the office to turn off the radio, and fetching her painkillers for a headache. MAKE SURE YOU DO EVERYTHING ONE TIME THROUGH!!!!
After putting her painkillers on the shelf next to her, you’ll notice they disappear and the plates are back on the counter. She will tell you to set the table with the plates like nothing ever happened. Do it, and suddenly the radio in the study will turn back on. Your mom will ask you to turn it off. Go to the study and pay the radio no mind. At this point, a red cover book should have fallen on top of a pile of other books in the corner of the room. Pick it up, approach the bookcase, and place it with the other books.
Now, remember the notebook from earlier in your room? First, you can ignore the math problems on the right of the page, they aren’t needed for this. There is a list of math problems on the left side of the book labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4 in Roman numerals. Notice the books are labeled the same way? Good. Those four math problems all have answers: 1, 9, 8, and 4. Those are the slots on the shelf that the books go into. Once all the books are in the correct spots, the loop will be broken, and the bookcase will open, revealing a pathway. Good luck with what’s coming next.
