PlayStation Plus Extra to Lose Big PS4 and PS5 Indies in April

Following last weeks announcement of new titles coming to PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra, Sony has now updated the Last Chance to Play section and we're scheduled to lose many "˜indie darlings' on April 15 2025.

First up is Stray, the beloved indie that places you as a very cute cat exploring a neon-lit, decaying cybercity will leave the service. Stray launched in to PlayStation Plus in 2022 and has since moved to other platforms including Xbox.

Next of note is Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Again, a popular title that entered the service in April 2023 and its two year tenure will come to an end in April 2025. We really liked Kena: Bridge of Spirits when we reviewed the Xbox release in August 2024.

Tales of Kenzera: ZAU

Finally, two games we reviewed and loved - Animal Well and Tales of Kenzera: ZAU will also leave the service.

Leaving PlayStation Plus

The full list of titles leaving the service are as follows:

  • Animal Well – PS5 (read our review)
  • Tales of Kenzera: ZAU – PS5 (read our review)
  • Nour: Play with Your Food – PS5, PS4
  • Deliver Us Mars – PS5, PS4
  • Miasma Chronicles – PS5
  • Stray Blade – PS5
  • Kena: Bridge of Spirits – PS5, PS4
  • Slay the Spire – PS4
Animal Well is also leaving PlayStation Plus

The list is currently on the Japanese PlayStation Store, with the list expected to be the same for other regions. We will update the article should there be any deviation.

Will you be racing to complete any titles before they release the service? What titles should people focus on completing over the next few weeks? Let us know in the comments below.
