Split Fiction – How To Solve Halls Of Ice Block Puzzle

Split Fiction is filled with all sorts of puzzles. One of the more difficult ones can be the block puzzle in Chapter 3: Halls Of Ice inside the Ice Palace. This guide will help you navigate it with ease.

Chapter 3: Halls Of Ice

Upon entering the palace after you’ve opened the gate you will see the giant stone block in the middle of the floor. As you can quickly tell the goal is to get the stone block to the little gate to the right of the palace entrance. To do so we have a good old fashioned sliding block puzzle.

In order to navigate it you will need player one to be in gorilla form and player two to be in…tree mode? Sure let’s call it tree mode. Player 1 can smash the block around the floor and player 2 can lift stones to block the sliding stone to get the right path. Keep in mind you can only lift 1 stone at a time with player 2. Here’s a step by step guide.

From the beginning hit the block towards the exit door then hit it to the far left side of the door.

Player 2 then raises platform 4 spots behind block. Player 1 hits it to the block.

Player 2 then raises platform two spots right and 1 spot forward. Player 1 hits block.

Player 2 then raises platform just to the left of the door. Player 1 hits to said block.

Player 2 raises platform just to the right of door. Player 1 hits block.

Player 1 hits to door. Puzzle complete.
