Dungeons of Hinterberg Announces New DLC as Part of Playstation Launch

We’re big fans of Dungeons of Hinterberg here at Gamer Social Club. Danno, our site owner gave it a an 8.5 in his review, and he was also lucky enough to chat to Philipp Seifried, technical director and co-founder of Microbird Games about the games Game Pass launch and success in the summer of last year.

Now with the game just days away from hitting Playstation consoles, publisher Curve Games dropped a video revealing a new DLC, Episode: Renaud to concide with the Playstation launch on March the 13th.

This is the second free DLC update for the game, the first being the addition of a New Game+ mode alongside new outfits and conduits in October last year.

This new DLC promises something a little different. PC and Xbox players familiar with the game will recognise Renaud, the brooding slayer that teaches Luisa the ‘Dance of Death’ in the main game – a combo meter that improves your defenses, mp regain and more if you score enough successive hits on an enemy. A fan of poetry and dungeon dates, this new DLC lets you play as Renaud on his mission to protect the world from monsters and is a prequel to the main game.

The DLC includes 7 new ‘rifts’ for you to battle through as Renaud, solving puzzles and mastering the ‘Dance of Death’ as you go. The story will tie directly into the main game of Dungeons of Hinterberg, so you can see some of the events leading up to your arrival as Luisa in the dungeon delving, monster slaying town of Hinterberg. We might even get some insight into what inspires Renaud’s love of peotry night by the campfire!

Dungeons of Hinterberg, Episode: Renaud releases on the 13th alongside the game releasing on Playstation and is a free update for everyone who owns the game!
