It’s been a bit over two years since Konami has decided to try to make a big splash back into gaming, apart from the occasional retro collection and themed Pachinko machine, and by all accounts it’s going well. Silent Hill 2 dropped last year to big fanfare, but if you’ve been wondering what’s going on with Silent Hill F, you’re not alone, and it looks like we are going to get some answers.
Announced via Konami’s official X/Twitter account on March 10th, 2025, Konomi will be doing another Silent Hill showcase this Thursday on March 13th, 2025, at 3:00pm PDT.
Not much has been said about Silent Hill F since it was originally announced way back in October of 2022 as part of the series comeback and first of what’s seemingly become a yearly Silent Hill transmission presentation.
The only thing one can draw from the original CGI trailer is the game seemingly takes place in 1960’s Japan, which is something hardcore fans have wanted for some time. Unfortunately, when the series travels outside the realm of Silent Hill, the reception can be mixed. While Silent Hill 4: The Room is still considered one of the better games it’s certainly looked at as the low point in the original 4 games by fans.
