With only 18 days left till release, Killing Floor 3 has officially been delayed. Killing Floor‘s closed beta took place towards the end of February and it was met with some distaste from fans.
Many fans complained that the game’s gameplay wasn’t as good as its predecessors. There were also reports of performance issues and inability to get the game to run, even on high end PCs.
The game is still scheduled to release in 2025, but there is no longer a date set for the release. Their reasoning is as stated below…

“We’re working together on a timeline to address many of the common issues players had during the beta, including performance/stability, UI/UX, lighting, and weapon feel.”. They also went on to share that, “an update allowing you to independently select your perk class and character is planned for post-release.”.
A lot of games get delayed, but its rare to be given a clear reason as to why a game is being delayed. Its good to see that Tripwire is paying such close attention to their fan’s feedback and taking their time to address those issues. We will be sure to keep you updated as more news develops on Killing Floor 3‘s development.
