Monster Hunter Wilds – Gossip Hunter Guide

The biggest game of 2025 so far has just released today with Monster Hunter Wilds taking the gaming world by storm. While the game will be quite the grind for achievement and trophy hunters alike there are a few things players can get out of the way relatively quickly and pain free. This guide will cover one of those things, the Gossip Hunter achievement/trophy.

Let's Hunt Some Profiles

Gossip Hunter is one of the few achievements or trophies tied to the multiplayer in Monster Hunter Wilds. If you like joining random multiplayer sessions this will likely come naturally for you. If you however aren't big on playing multiplayer, you can still obtain this easily, and quickly.

Just a quick note here, in order to get these menus you will have needed to finish the first chapter of the story and get to your mini base in order to do this.

Head to the communications section of the menu once you've made it to base camp
Head to link party > view link members

You can go to the communication section of the menu, then go to "link party", then "view link members". From here you can get a list of players by pressing either LB on Xbox or L1 on PlayStation. Now simply scroll through 30 names until your achievement or trophy unlocks. Unfortunately after each view it will kick you out of the menu and make you do some steps over again but it's not bad. This method will take all of 5-10 minutes.

And that's really all there is to it. This is the start of our Monster Hunter Wilds guides, check back as we cover more of the game the more we dig in ourselves! Happy hunting.
