Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Documentary Filmmaker Guide

With how many achievements/trophies there are in Lost Records: Bloom & Rage that are missable, it’s very likely you yourself have missed a couple. Perhaps the one most likely to miss is Documentary Filmmaker. Today we will show you what you need to do in order to grab this one.

Documentary Filmmaker is all about the collectibles, aka the memoirs. It requires you to film a new subject in collectibles mode. This means you will need to go back to a previous scene in that mode and find something new.

Missing Something On Purpose

So the first thing you need to do here is if you are following a collectibles guide (hopefully ours!) you are going to want to skip recording one. Because of the wording of the description I’m not 100% certain it can be any old memoir you skip. Each memoir collectible has multiple entries required.

For the sake of this achievement/trophy I used scene 6 for this. You have to record all 3 of your new friends and each one of them has a separate memoir. You can begin recording all 3 once you take control of Swann. So simply skip recording one of them during your initial playthrough.

Once you’ve completed the scene you can pause and do scene select, go to scene 6 and restart it. Make sure you select collectibles mode, go through the first little scene and then record whichever friend you skipped during your first playthrough. As soon as you record them once, your achievement or trophy will unlock.

Go back to scene 6 and film one of your friends for the first time!

You can in theory use any subject you want here to skip and go back to and it should work, however this is the spot I used as it seemed easiest for me. And that’s really all there is to it. That’s one less missable thing to stress about!
