Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Post Launch Plans Revealed

The upcoming fighter, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves has had its first round of DLC revealed and plans to feature 5 characters between summer of 2025 and early 2026.

First on the line up is series mainstay Andy Bogard, brother to series protagonist Terry and the love interest of Mai Shiranui. After Andy, Ken Masters from the Street Fighter franchise is expected to come, continuing the recent crossovers between SNK and Capcom as both Terry and Mai are currently playable in Street Fighter 6.

After Ken, another series mainstay, Joe Higashi is set to come followed by the first lady of fighting games, Chun li also coming over from Street Fighter. Lastly Mr. Big, an antagonist who initially appeared in Art of Fighting (also the next fighter SNK has planned) will close out the first season of dlc.

It’s worth noting that all of the season 1 pass comes with the base game so none of these characters will need to be paid any extra for. This is a great approach to dlc and one that I wish more fighting game devs would adopt. It has me even more excited for the game than I already was.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is set to release on April 24th, 2025 for PS4, PS5, PC and Xbox Series S/X. The game also has an open beta coming February 20th through 24th.

A lifelong gamer who enjoys playing on every platform. Eventually, I grew to love fighting games in particular and began to compete and even win competitions for some games, primarily the 2013 revival of killer instinct. Outside of gaming I also have aspirations of being a comic book artist with a few ideas of my own im developing in my head. When reviewing any game I try to keep my mind open and avoid nitpicking too much. It takes a lot for something to detract me from truly enjoying it so I may not focus on smaller details the way some others might do. I enjoy almost any genre, just don't ask me to play horror games or puzzle games.
